Also known as Guvar Dhokli nu Shaak or Cluster Beans Dhokli Curry, this is a traditional Gujarati comfort dish combining vegetables and handmade dumplings. Fresh guvar (cluster beans) are cooked with soft, spiced wheat flour dhokli pieces in a mildly tangy and sweet curry, flavoured with jaggery, tamarind, and a gentle mix of spices.

Ingredients: Cluster beans (guvar), whole wheat flour, gram flour (besan), turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander-cumin powder, jaggery, tamarind pulp, mustard seeds, sesame seeds, salt, and edible oil.

Best enjoyed with roti or steamed rice, Guvar Dhokali offers the perfect balance of earthy, tangy, and slightly sweet Gujarati flavours.
